What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a therapeutic technique that involves tapping on certain points on the body, while focusing on specific issues or emotions. It is based on the principles of acupuncture and uses a combination of tapping, breathing and verbalising to release negative emotions and beliefs, and promote positive change.

EFT has been used to help with a wide range of emotional and physical issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, frazzled nervous systems and phobias. It is a relatively simple technique that can practiced by anyone, and can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies. I provide you with some videos to allow you to address simple issues outside of therapy sessions.

The basic premise of EFT is that negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body’s energy system. By tapping on specific points, EFT aims to correct these disruptions and restore balance to the body’s energy system. This can lead to a sense of calm, clarity, and emotional freedom.
